Our Hofmann Geoliner 550 is one of the first of its kind in Canada. A brand new kind of alignment machine, this is a modern style imaging machine with all of the features of the best in the industry, but in a portable design that can be moved from hoist to hoist.

Hofmann is one of the biggest names in automotive service equipment, and being a division of Snap-On, you know this is quality stuff. Our Geoliner 550 can measure toe, camber, caster, thrust angle, total steer angle, bump steer, SAI and setback. Everything you need.

We have the machine setup using our 2 post lifts and leveled stands with turntables and slip plates. This means you no longer need to worry about driving your lowered vehicle onto a 4 post hoist's ramps. Simply lift the car with the hoist and set it on the stands, throw your lasers and targets on the wheels and you're in business. No using long ramps or jacking the car to get it on the lift, much yet having to worry about ground clearance with scissor lifts that commonly come into collision with exhausts and subframes under lowered cars.

We will also be offering corner balancing services to optimize the vehicles cross weights and adjust ride height precisely. However, as good as all of this sounds the most important component to any alignment machine is the person turning the wrench. Far too often we hear about rushed alignments where the technician did not take the time it often requires to get the vehicle’s thrust angle and toe as precise as required. While small discrepancies in camber and caster are not as critical, thrust angle and toe have a very small margin of error they can opperate within before they deteriorate the vehicles performance.

After having used this machine for some time now we are glad to say that we have aligned all sorts of different types of vehicles from all of nissans flagship cars (Skylines, 300zxs, 240s and of course 350zs), to other imports such as Audis, BMWs and Hondas (RSX, Civic etc). We've setup race cars and street cars alike, as well as a lot inbetween. We are happy to report that all of our customers have been more than extremely happy with our alignment services and we've been told on more than one occassion that the car has never felt better.
