Driver Delevopment And Training

Through running SG-Motorsport and devloping his race cars, as well as through driving them, Sasha Anis has come to learn a fair share about vehicle dynamics - in other words - what it takes to make a car go fast around a circuit.

No matter what level you're at, there is always something that can be learnt to go faster. By using Data Analysis, onboard video or ride alongs, the little things a driver does to slow him or her down can be observed and improved upon.

Sometimes large changes need to be made, but sometimes a full second can be found with just some minor tweaking of clipping points, throttle points and through practicing smoothness.

These are just a few of the things we can work towards. Some theory instruction is also neccessarry to make sure the driver understands the physics behind what the vehcile is doing, to better predict what the car is and is not capable of doing.

Finally, having been a drifting instructor and being involved with drifting for some time, Sasha Anis can help with one of the most important and least focused on subjects for the racing driver - car control. If a driver is not comfortable beyond the limit of adhesion, he or she is much less likely to venture to that limit, for fear of going over the edge. Being comfortable with a car that is sliding around and doing the funky chicken is something that is of utmost importance, esspecially as a driver builds consistency, and will spend some time beyond the limit (though not on purpose, it happens to us all!).

If you would like to book a day with Sasha at an Ontario race track please email racing@sg-motorsport.com, please book at least 2 weeks in advance, assuming it is not on a Koni Challenge or SCCA pro racing weekend where Sasha is racing.
