Terms & Conditions Of Product Sales, Support And Delivery.
Service is defined as any modification, tuning, installation, removal, alignment, of any component for or on the customers vehicle. Parts are defined as any tangible product sold by Sequence Garage Motorsport Inc.
Sequence Garage Motorsport Inc is also referred to as SG Motorsport, SG, SGM, please keep this in mind while reading the following terms, conditions and policies. Remember, we only have these policies here for our own protection in the future. We do our best to serve you, but we must not confuse our dedication for the customer with accepted liability for risk that is, and always will be, the customer’s responsibility. You decide to modify your vehicle, and decide to put aftermarket parts on it. Below we will try to explain the specifics of the risks that you are accepting so that there are no disputes in the future. 1 – Payment, Pricing, Shipping
Pricing is subject to change at any time without notice. Manufacturers often change their retail and wholesale pricing on a semi annually or annual basis, and fluctuations in the dollar will have large effects on any CAD quoted products manufactured or imported from the United States. Prices are quoted for pickup at SG-Motorsport. If you would like a specialty ordered product drop shipped to you, you will be discounted an estimated customs fee, agreed to before purchase. Any discrepancies in the actual customs billing is the customers responsibility.
All payments will be made out to Sequence Garage Motorsport Inc. Many prices are set in US dollars as with our extremely volatile dollar quoting in US dollars is the only way to accurately estimate cost for the end buyer. Final cost for Canadians will be figured at time of purchase through XE.com for money orders, cash and debit transactions. Our online system uses a live currency exchange to help keep prices accurate, however in some rare instances we MAY have to alter a computerised price and alert the customer when such an event happens – possibly even after placing an order.
Sequence Garage Motorsport Inc. Accepts VISA, Cash, Money Order, Bank Draft and Interac Debit as forms of payment. Personal checks are not accepted. Full payment is required upon time of order, any and all refunds are subject to a 30% restocking fee. All special order products can NOT be returned or cancelled after the time of order. Special order products can take anywhere from 2 weeks to 6 months for delivery, depending on availability and location. We try our best to give you an accurate shipping estimate, but can make no promises and cannot be held accountable for extended wait for products.
Sequence Garage Motorsport Inc. will refund a product within 30 days for the full purchase price minus 30% restocking fee and any costs incurred to SG. We do not refund or cover shipping, customs or currency gain/loss amounts in the refund as unfortunately these are just the expenses of moving said products around. We will attempt to refund your money as soon as possible, however we do require a few days of lead time form when we receive the part back until said customer will be credited the funds. The time allows us to process the information, and allows our merchant to refund or forward the money to your bank account. This is our generic refund policy and we will deal with each refund on a case by case basis in the most fair and reasonable manner – keeping in mind that we always want our customers to be happy and feel justified.
Vehicles will be held until payment has been made in full, there are no exceptions. Once a vehicle is complete, there is a 5 day grace period for pickup from SG, after which point customers will be charged a storage fee of $40 per day backdated to the day of completion (i.e. if picked up on the 6th day an additional $200 would be applied to the customers invoice).
Any shipments made from Sequence Garage Motorsport Inc. are not the responsibility of Sequence Garage Motorsport Inc. once they have left the facility. Shipping insurance is highly recommended. SG Motorsport is not responsible for any customs, brokerage fee or taxes associated with international shipping. This is the duty of the customer.
Manufacturer Warranties are exactly that – from the manufacturer. Sequence Garage Motorsport Inc is not responsible nor liable for product failure, even if the product is covered under warranty by the manufacturer. We will be happy to advise you on the correct path to dealing with your issue as quickly and reasonably as possible, however you will have to deal with the manufacturer direct. Typically you can find a companys warranty and contact details on their website.
Clearance, used and open-box items are non-refundable and as we go to every reasonable length to ensure these products are in like-new condition, we cannot guarantee that of course, and the risk is with the buyer. If the risk of a used or open box item is too great, we suggest purchasing the same product brand new. Note that products on special are not the same as clearance products and they may still be returned according to our return policy.
2 – Liability, Product And Service
Liability is denied for any products purchased through, manufactured by, or installed and/or altered by Sequence Garage Motorsport Inc. All service and parts installed at SG-Motorsport are designed for off-road use only, and carry no warranty or guarantee what-so-ever (except on certain parts that carry a Manufacturer specific warranty). Using the vehicle for uses other than instructed herein voids any warranty offered by either SG-Motorsport or the original manufacturer.
Sequence Garage Motorsport Inc. is not liable for any damage, personal injury or death that occurs through the use or misuse of its products or serviced products, regardless of any negligence or gross negligence on the part of the part supplier or installer. Racing and motorsports are dangerous sports; we all understand that and agree to play the game regardless. Accept your own responsibility and accept that we are all pushing our equipment to the edge, where unknown and un-expected things can and do happen. We accept no liability what-so-ever not because we dont care about our customers, but because the risk is too great for the profits we receive in our day to day business. SG-Motorsport will always go to great lengths to ensure our customers are properly supported and serviced at all times, but unfortunately refuse to accept liability for anything that may happen, regardless of Sequence Garage Motorsport Incs deemed responsibility for the situation.
