A 1.5way differential applies aggressive locking on forward acceleration, and mild locking under deceleration. A 2-way applies aggressive locking in both acceleration and deceleration. Typically, a 2way is used for drifting to assist e-brake lockup, whereas a 1.5way is used for road racing to prevent excessive corner entry understeer.

Please select the model and year of your car below, including whether or not it is equipped with the factory viscous differential. This is CRITICAL to us being able to send you the correct diff. Nissan changed certain parameters in their differentials throughout the years without any easy way of checking. To ensure you get the correct differential we will also need to know the diameter of the ring gear bolts. As you'd have to take your diff apart to get us this information, don't worry about it if it is not possible, 9/10 times it is a non issue, and if you do need new bolts we can supply them for you.
