Part Guide:
Ok so you dont know much about what modifications do what, or why you need them. You dont know the difference between a camshaft and a crankshaft. Don't worry thats fine. To learn the basics of engines we reccomend you visit howstuffworks.com as they have great articles written up about the four stroke engine (you'll learn what that means there) and the basics of how it works. What they wont tell you is how to get the most power from it, esspecially not around Japanese fuel injected engines. This parts guide is to basically explain what each section of the car does. What its meant to do from the factory, and how the modifications help make that part work better for the spirited driver, or racer.
For example, stock suspension is designed for people that want maximum comfort, however it transfers weight much too quickly and is too soft - overloading the outside tires under hard lateral accerlation. The reason stock cars dont come with stiff suspension is quite obvious, most people dont want the stiffer ride. Some catagories aren't as obvious. Many times it has to do with production costs, and to be honest some things will make your ride slightly less reliable. But its a risk most are willing to take.
